Clara has a background in microbiology and crop science. Her focus will be dissecting the molecular mechanisms of plant-microbial interactions in wheat using metaproteomic methods. Her work will include the development of gnotobiotic systems for plants, the development of synthetic microbial communities for wheat, and the identification of key molecules and microorganisms involved in responses to biotic and abiotic plant stress.
